- Human-Human collaboration Art
Human-Human collaboration Art, Workshop and multimedia event with Paolo Gallina and Pier Giorgio De Pinto. In collaboration with DIA (Department of Engineering and Architecture) of the University of Trieste and IED Milano for Milano Digital Week at Base, Milano, Italy.
The workshop, shows at Design HumaNETy at Base in Milano, proposes a short journey to discover the portrait and its execution. Through an eye tracker technology the participants realize an aesthetic and figurative product through the ocular movement. The graphic production of each subject will be integrated with that of the others, as if users were collaborating to draw.
Two participants use two computers, each equipped with an eye tracker to create a portrait using only the movement of their eyes. The graphic result of the participants’ collaboration is projected on screen during the whole performance, for the benefit of the audience.
Design HumaNETy
IED the European Institute of Design is the protagonist, at BASE Milano, of the second edition of Milano Digital Week (13-17 March 2019).
As Content Partner of the event, IED brings to the space in via Bergognone 34 Design HumaNETy, an exploration of the digital world and how it has contributed to the evolution of man’s relationship with the city and with today’s society.
Design HumaNETy was presented to the public through a series of talks and workshops and an exhibition that can be visited free of charge for the duration of the event: “Interfacce del Presente” (Interfaces of the Present), curated by IED teachers Tiziana Gemin and Fabio Paris, leads to question the potential of machines, observing works of simulation of neural networks, machines that learn autonomously and others that produce content independently.
