“A creator needs only one enthusiast to justify him” Man Ray (1890-1976).
On 5th February 1916, in the back room of a small bar in Zurich, a group of artists launched a nightclub which changed the course of modern art. Cabaret Voltaire was the home of Dada, a movement that revolutionised European culture.
Celebrating 100 years since the DADA movement was born in Zürich. De Pinto is a great fan of dada and of course of Man Ray and made this work as contribution for dadaclub.online; a project by Link Art Center.
dadaclub.online is a place where you can download high quality copies of original dada works, remix them and share them back in the gallery. Dada is nothing, enjoy dada.
On March 28, 2016, the project Dadaclub.online was presented in Zurich, Switzerland at the place where Dada was born in 1916: Cabaret Voltaire. Slovene artist and net.art pioneer Vuk Ćosić joined us, and presented a new project conceived for the Dada Jubilee.
